Call for Proposals
Artwork
The Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Council (NLAC) invites visual artists and fine crafts persons that are residents of Newfoundland and Labrador to submit proposals for seven pieces of artwork. These artworks will be presented to award recipients, in select categories, at the 27th NLAC Arts Awards Gala.
Specifications: Seven pieces of existing or newly-created artwork
Budget: $3,500 + HST inclusive for seven works (includes artist fees, materials, framing, shipping and insurance.)
Requirements:
A proposal including:
- A detailed project description
- An updated résumé
- Relevant support material i.e. images (sketches, slides, photos, jpgs, etc.) maximum 20
Original artworks cannot be accepted as support material. The NLAC is not responsible for damage to or loss of any submitted support material.
Optional: Letters of Reference
Deadline for Proposal: Monday, January 30, 2012
Deadline for Delivery of Artwork: Friday, April 13, 2012
